After the Death of a Master: comment from a dedicated fan (from NYT)
IBG New York, NY 17 hours ago
In addition to feeling surprised, shocked, and sad, I feel as though I've been robbed. Not only did I marvel at his brilliant characterizations in film, but I had the pleasure of experiencing his talent more closely by sitting close to stage in his NY theatre productions of Long Day's Journey into Night, Jack Goes Boating (theatre piece, not cinema), and Death of a Salesman. I so regret that this list will not grow longer, but I will often revisit the images I do have. Will always think of you fondly, RIP, P.S.H.
